We are helping one of our Financial Services clients hire a Data Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have deep domain experience working with custody and fund accounting data. Knowledge of the capital markets and different investment instruments is also required (equities, derivatives, etc).   

 

This role is a client-facing role where you will be working with new and existing clients as their point person, ensuring that for each project, their data is complete and all appropriate data is properly transferred to the right internal systems.

Job Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Establishing relationships with clients and their data providers in EMEA to ensure proper and timely data collection
  • Educate clients and data providers on all data transfer processes
  • Set up data transfer and integration schedule with new clients and ensure data is transferred in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal data specialists to ensure data is refreshed when appropriate
  • Document all client and data provider data workflows 
  • Document all file types of data being transferred 
  • Gain an understanding of each client's fund types and hierarchy
  • Ensure quality of client data and reconcile when necessary

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Experience:

 

  • 5-7+ years of project management experience in financial services
  • Experience working on projects directly with clients, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Knowledge of the capital markets and the different types of investments that are traded are required
  • Project management leadership experience is preferred
  • Experience working with large amounts of data in different types of files 
  • Data analytics experience is also required
  • A very strong communicator
  • Strong collaboration skills - able to work well across multiple internal departments
  • Disciplined and deadline-driven
  • Expert-level skills with Excel
  • CRM savvy and experience working with workflow platforms
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet all deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Multilingual preferred
