Adidas, is looking for a O2C Credit & Collections Team Leader to join the Global Business Services team in Porto, Portugal. You will be responsible for monitoring workload, set priorities and assist other team members to deliver continuous improvement initiatives. You will provide ongoing support to the OtC Manager, drive strategic topics throughout the team and be the process expert on OtC Credit & Collections topics. Your goal will be to ensure that all activities are delivered on timely manner and with the required quality, by being the first escalation point for the process related issues both from the customer and the colleagues. 

 

Main Responsibilities


•    Responsible for day to day leadership of an OtC Credit & Collections team serving the customers, delivering performance that meets or exceeds service level agreement targets
•    Responsible for the credit, customer billing, collections & dispute management processes
•    Manage customer problem resolution and escalation
•    Drive continuous improvement in the OTC Credit & Collections team by introducing Lean principles and developing team members
•    Manage the relationship and support requests from partner Finance departments and other stakeholders in the business
•    Supervise the credit risk assessment and review
•    Supervise the releasing of the blocked orders and ensure timely release 
•    Act as the first escalation point for the process related issues 
•    Identify the improvement opportunities and support their implementation 
•    Lead the process and improvement focused projects for OtC Credit & Collections
•    Provide insight into the calculation of the required provision for uncollectable balances
•    Acting as the backup for the manager

Specific Requirements

•    BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics 
•   Very good communication skills both in Italian and English
•    Aptitude for managing and developing a team
•    Customer orientation and empathy 
•    Experience in SAP
•    Experience in Credit & Collections activities  
•    Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis
•    Experience in SSC/BPO environment
