Oikocredit is a social impact investor and worldwide cooperative with over four decades of experience in promoting sustainable development through investments in financial inclusion, agriculture and renewable energy. As a social investor, Oikocredit's work is guided by the principle of empowering low-income people to improve their livelihoods. To do this, Oikocredit supports partner organisations in developing countries through loans, equity investments and capacity building. Social impact is at the heart of Oikocredit's work.
