This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to work for a market-leading ecommerce business on a 3-month contract with a view it could go permanent.  The role will be working remotely and you will have the opportunity to join an internationally recognised brand that have grown significantly in the past 2 years and have achieved a 15% increase in sales in 2020.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and will take ownership of the management accounts for 2 entities, month-end process, fixed asset register as well as supporting with various ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts for 2 entities
• Managing all month-end processes, bank reconciliations and fixed asset register
• Having a hands-on approach with posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Dealing with P&L, cashflow and management reporting
• Managing bank postings and reconciliations
• Supporting with budgets, forecasting and working with stakeholders
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
• Remaining forward-thinking and suggesting improvements for month-end processes

The successful candidate will be ACA/CA newly qualified looking to make their first move into industry or ACCA or CIMA Qualified/Finalist level with experience producing management accounts and supporting with the year-end. Prior knowledge of the retail/ecommerce sector is beneficial but not essential as is knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics. In order to be considered, you must have strong attention to detail and the ability to be a team player.
