Inside Sales Specialist

Description

  • Work with Strategy Directors to identify campaigns for targeted lead generation
  • Identify, target and research potential customers and new leads for PSE
  • Make targeted sales prospecting approaches, through various mediums such as phone, email, LinkedIn and Web-based meetings.
  • Qualify sales opportunities, establish an initial sales process and prioritise the prospects for engagement by the field sales team.
  • Take ownership of some new client opportunities and attend client meetings.
  • Nurture customers through the sales process.
  • Update, manage and qualify information on PSE’s CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Promote and help to manage PSE workshops, seminars and training courses
  • Manage and follow up batches of leads generated by PSE’s marketing activities (e.g. webinars, conferences and events).

Responsibilities

  • Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • Interest in working for and good understanding of, the Formulated industries
  • Must have a ‘hunter’ mentality and be comfortable working in an inside sales environment with a high focus on outbound lead generation.
  • Excellent 'Business Sense' for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic environment
  • Solid communication and presentation skills and able to adapt these depending on the client (you will be engaging with Process Engineering, Research and Development groups as well as Productions and Operations Management).
  • Strong sales skills or evidence of a genuine interest in developing them
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and persistence
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
