Onboarding Client Experience Specialist

Description

  • Work with the Team Lead to plan and execute the onboarding of new clients with respect to all accounting and cloud technology related services (i.e. Conversions to new tech stack, integration of applications, administrative tasks associated with onboarding)
  • Act as the main liaison with clients to ensure all activities within the onboarding process are completed to the highest standards
  • Provide timely updates to clients and accounting team on the status of onboarding activities
  • Ensure the operational readiness of the client before a full transfer to the accounting team
  • Provide additional training where necessary to clients on cloud accounting technologies
  • Provide ongoing support to accounting team for client queries and requests
  • Correspond with clients during the year-end process to ensure deliverable deadlines are met
  • Work with the Team and Tech Leads to search for, analyse and review cloud apps that may, if implemented, improve the workflow internally for the team, or externally for clients
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead to provide training and onboarding activities to new staff members about processes and applications used by the firm
  • Other ad-hoc administrative support as necessary

Responsibilities

·  You can deliver spectacular customer service; you have great communication skills and you are able to easily explain difficult concepts.
·  You are tech-savvy and you are comfortable using several different apps at once time (we use a lot of apps here!).
·  You have previous experience onboarding clients from either desktop accounting software to cloud software, or from cloud to cloud.
·  You have experience with various online accounting systems, notably, Xero & Quickbooks Online.
·  You have previous years experience working in a firm or in industry.
·  You have experience corresponding with CRA and other Provincial government bodies.
·  You are exceptionally detail-oriented and organized.
·  You are a problem solver. Period.
·  You are able to and like working in a fast-paced environment.
·  You are able to meet tight deadlines.
·  You are bilingual (English & French).
·  You have a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or in the process of obtaining one.
·  You have previous experience in corporate and personal tax filings.
