Description

  • Identify, attract and select talents with an IT technical profile using different tools and innovative approaches.
  • Receive and analyze hiring needs and write job profiles.
  • Post job opportunities on the various job boards used.
  • Analyze applications, conduct phone interviews and other screening activities and participate in selection interviews.
  • Coordinate various selection tests, assess their results and check job references and background.
  • Write job offers and present them to selected candidates.
  • Coordinate the arrival of new employees.
  • Proactively headhunt and develop innovative strategies to promote hiring through different social media.
  • Promote the employer brand by targeting and participating in visibility and networking events.
  • Participate in initiatives related to the retention of newly hired talent.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally for a rapidly growing company. If you are new to the IT field, you still show a marked interest and are curious to learn the inner workings;
  • Passionate about sourcing, you know how to decode potential beyond CVs and naturally develop a relationship with proactively identified candidates;
  • Strong interest in innovation and on the continuous improvement of processes;
  • Bilingual: fluent in English and French, both oral and written.
  • Communication skills – Why? Because you will be expected to explain and vulgarize concepts by adapting the style and content of your messages to your audience (whether it’s internal client, external clients or your teammates).
  • Organization and resourcefulness – Why? Because we don’t believe in micromanagement. You will need to figure out solutions on your own by using your skills, your knowledge and any relevant information you can get your hands on.
  • Problem-solving skills – Why? Because when you will face a problem, you will first analyze the information before identifying the possible causes. You will then explore and implement the most efficient and logical solutions.
  • Adaptability – Why? Because our industry evolves constantly. You will have to adjust your thinking and methods to better suit new or unplanned situations (whether it’s for your daily tasks or your work environment).
