Director, Product Management

  • Coach, manage, mentor, and motivate a team of talented Product Managers.
  • Provide oversight of product initiatives assigned to Product Managers to help drive success.
  • Help set and manage metrics across the product team.
  • Help define and oversee processes and systems for the product team.
  • Partner with engineering, quality assurance, design, product marketing, and product analytics to improve and accelerate the impact of the product team.
  • Share the product management team goals cross-functionally and cross-departmentally, and how they impact the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Create an environment where innovation, creativity, and collaboration is encouraged to solve problems, while always keeping scope, business goals, and priorities top-of-mind.
  • Help grow the product management team by identifying needs for team growth, managing the recruitment of new product managers, and retention of existing team members.
  • Evangelize Bloomerang products internally and externally.
  • As a senior leader on the team, any other responsibilities assigned by the VP, Product Management.

Specific Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working for a SaaS company.
  • 4+ years of product management experience.
  • 3+ years recruitment and management experience.
  • The ability to clearly communicate the impact the product team initiatives have on our business.
  • The ability to help Product Managers produce strategic product roadmaps that encompass the goals of the business and needs of the customer.
  • Having the technical knowledge to easily work with engineering teams, while also being able to explain the work of the product team to non-technical audiences.
  • Being a master collaborator who enjoys engaging with stakeholders, members from various teams, and customers.
  • Possessing a passion for innovation and emerging technologies.
