Contribute to the evolution of corporate Human Resources policies, programs that foster employee satisfaction and retention
Provide interpretation and guidance in the implementation of existing HR policies and programs
Lead the development and oversight of HR Programs, including the organizations’ Health & Safety Program
Ensure compliance of the organizations’ Health & Safety Program and provide regular data and reporting
Conduct and coordinate workplace investigations related to employee complaints
Participate and provide guidance to management to address issues related to performance management
Build and strengthen relationships between employees and management
Use expertise in HR disciplines, sound judgement and active listening to collaborate with management and employees in the development of solutions on a wide spectrum of employee related situations

Responsibilities

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources
A minimum of seven years of progressive Human Resources experience with preference given to those who have worked extensively in employee or labour relations, occupational health & safety, performance management and employment equity
Experience providing expertise, guidance and coaching to management
Experience managing Human Resource Programs
Experience in leading and facilitating meetings and work groups
Knowledge and understanding of federal employment laws and macro HR trends
The ability to work in both official languages; moving seamlessly between French and English

This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of between $80,000 to $100,000 annually with a comprehensive benefits package and pension.
