Assistant Accountant

Description

  • Purchase invoice processing and matching to purchase orders
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank and cash reconciliations
  • Management accounts preparation for a number of cafes and restaurants
  • Weekly financial analysis – turnover reports, etc.
  • Opportunities to gain exposure to other areas across the Finance Team
  • Other ad hoc duties, including helping other team members at busy times

Responsibilities

  • 2 years’ experience in the above areas within a fast-paced team
  • strong attention to detail
  • experience in accounting software such as Sage
  • advanced Excel skills (familiarity with using SUMIF & VLOOKUP formulae and creating Pivot Tables)
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
