Description

The post-holder will provide PA and administrative support and excellent customer service to the School of Civil, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering including senior academics and professional services staff with a leadership role, or a group of academics. Principal tasks including booking national and international travel arrangements, complex diary management, arranging high level regional and national meetings, and dealing with incoming communications via a variety of media. They will act as a key part of the professional School team and provide support to professional services staff when required.

Responsibilities

The post-holder will need to demonstrate strong organisational, administrative and communication skills and have experience of prioritising work within a busy office environment. In addition, they will need experience of providing high-level PA support and managing a complex diary. Excellent IT skills and experience of software packages such as Microsoft Office are essential. Familiarity with University systems and processes would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
