Description

Principal Contact for day-to-day contractual reviews, negotiations, and drafting including: Game Supplier agreements, Payment Service Provider agreements, NDAs, marketing T&Cs

Ensuring company Terms and Conditions are up-to-date and remain compliant with regulatory requirements

Amendments to/extension of existing agreements
-
Management of renewal/extension dates and related negotiation timetable
-
Advising the organisation on commercial, as well as legal, aspects of transactions and negotiating with counterparty legal, commercial, and procurement teams
-
To cooperate with external legal counsel on jurisdiction-specific legal matters, including litigations, enforcement and licence application matters

Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required

Providing internal consultancy to Business departments on data protection and privacy matters
-
Providing governance across all applicable policies and procedures
-
Liaising with the Business to ensure the international data protection and privacy requirements are met

Working with IT information, including production of technical documentation
-
Identifying nonconformity within the Business and escalating appropriately
-
Interfacing with supervisory authorities as necessary, including production of high calibre documentation appropriate for submission
-
Taking an active role in the project process to ensure that data protection and privacy matters are considered up front and throughout the project lifecycle

Taking an active role in internal and external audits when necessary

Identifying appropriate data protection and privacy knowledge and transferring into the Business as required
Responsibilities
-
Possess a Doctorate of Laws or a Legal Degree
-
At least 2+ years’ experience as a data protection officer
-
At least 2+ years’ experience as a lawyer
-
Experience in iGaming preferable but not a hard requirement
-
Solid knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR); corporate and commercial law
-
Very good command of English language

Ability to work independently and cooperate with different teams
