BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

 

This role would report directly into one of the heads of sales. We are looking for highly motivated and experienced individuals as well as fresh multilingual graduates with exceptional sales skills and top academic grades. The candidates should be committed and enthusiastic about financial technologies, trading and finance but specially be genuinely hungry to exceed the set targets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of all company’s initiatives and strategies in the assigned sales region
  • Manage and acquire private clients as well as introducing brokers, derivative dealers, hedge funds, asset managers, affiliates, white labels, and financial institutions
  • Market wisely the groups products and services to clients and partners
  • Built-up long-term relationships with selected partners and institutions
  • Work with internal departments (trading services, compliance, IT, credit, account opening, etc.) to ensure the smooth running and commercial viability of relationships
  • Follow up on new and existing sales leads
  • Generate leads via own networks and initiatives by developing new channels, such as online events and webinars in order to attract new private clients, partners, affiliates, and introducers
  • Convert leads into clients and partners, using an effective sales approach
  • Effective handling of after-sales support to clients and partners
  • Anticipate client’s needs and propose alternative business solutions in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional support to an existing client base and partners including platform usages, market commentary, and product education
  • Assist compliance with the processing of know-your-client documentation (KYC)
  • Provide continuous feedback to management in order to optimize existing procedures and tools
  • Eventual participation in exhibition and roadshows
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Requirements

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ sales experience within financial services, preferably derivatives, futures, and/or securities is highly appreciated but not a must
  • Contacts within the fin-tech and trading world is a plus

  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Degree in Economics / Finance / Business Administration / IT preferred
  • Willing to eventual travel
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment linked with a fast-growing group
  • An independent, self-directed individual who is not afraid to make decisions to develop, execute and deliver on assigned strategies
  • A highly detailed individual with the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple tasks
  • Good MS office skills and familiarity of CRM software’s preferred
  • Ability to achieve and exceed targets
  • Solid analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Fluent spoken and written in English, plus fluent in at least the other two of the following languages, and at least one of them as a mother tongue; any additional language will be an asset. German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin/Cantonese, Malay/Indonesian, and/or Vietnamese
  • Hungry for a performance-based variable compensation plan
  • Place of work to be defined depending on the group’s ongoing strategy and the candidates possible existing network, as well as his/her personal situation, skills, and degree of know-how
  • Sales experience in the financial industry is an additional asset but not an absolute must, as formal training will be provided
  • The working place will be most probably in one of the following locations: Berlin, Izmir, Lisbon, London, Malta, Stockholm, and/or Zurich. Local work permit is required
