Robotics Motion Planning Engineer

Description

  • Develop motion planning solutions to produce elements outside the general product catalog.
  • Develop motion planning solutions to add geometric or procedural features to the products.
  • Assess the feasibility of the production of an element with certain properties.
  • Test the developed solutions on the robot for production-readiness verification.
  • Pilot the robot and engage in the construction process that uses the developed solution to produce an actual product.

Responsibilities

  • Degree in computer / robotics / controls, or any other related field of engineering.
  • Knowledge of Rhino-Grasshopper package is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of robot path planning is mandatory.
  • One year of experience with Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs) is a plus.
  • Previous experience of path planning for KUKA robots is a plus.
  • Experience in Python.
  • Strong mathematical background is required to deal with the challenges.
  • Strategic thinking and good initiatives.
  • Good communication and the ability to perform in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changes (e.g., priorities and timelines).
  • Creative, fast-thinker, self-motivated.
  • Fluent in English.
