Description

  • Be the competence center of the consumer and market. Actively influence new concept/product development by gaining, analyzing and sharing valuable consumer and market insights (‘inside out + outside in’) from the assigned market. Embed product feedback from the market in future product offerings;
  • Commercial responsibility (financial/business) in new concept/product development process: set up and validate the profitability of the business cases in the innovation roadmap;
  • Drive and guard continuous rhythm and balanced new concept product development roadmap for relevant product(s). In close cooperation with the design team, the engineering team and the clusters define and guard the global product development roadmap and strategy of relevant product(s) based on the Bugaboo design vision, market situation and business needs, and develop and guard the product(s) and product line strategies integrating lifecycle management;
  • Deliver winning propositions: develop and own the product propositions, build on the design concepts and translated consumer/market insights, and build the market positioning including pricing accordingly;
  • In close cooperation with the clusters and the finance team, develop the long-term business plan for the relevant product(s), guard, chase and contribute to continuous improvement of product performance (profitability, customer complaints, quality) and contribute to ensure a proper knowledge handover between current and new business;
  • Own the delivery of the product making via project management of new product development projects. If the product development scope is manageable self-direct the NCD, establish project development milestones and manage the progress, issues and risks as the product owner. If the product development scope requires professional project management support, reach out to Innovation Process Team for a dedicated project management support for managing the project management side of the delivery. If project management is managed by a dedicated project manager, partner with the project manager and co-manage the project process, issues and risks but own the outward facing communication of the project to the steering group and the management team;
  • Manage and delivery all product-go-to-market related responsibilities according to the GTM playbook;
  • In close collaboration with the cluster teams, monitor in-market product performance, set strategy and plan for global product management direction, manage the lifecycle of products based on global product management point of view, including, price, positioning, product enhancement plans and EOL plans. 

Responsibilities

  • Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Design or Engineering;
  • 4-8 years workinge experience; 
  • Proven knowledge/experience in guiding product design/engineering;
  • Experience in customer and market research;
  • Commercial understanding (financial/business);
  • Analytical skills;
  • Project management knowledge managing time, budget, milestones, issues and risk of projects;
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills;
  • Strategic thinking;
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal;
  • The position requires to visit different markets for customer study and product assessment.
