Description

  • Supporting the Marketing Team with administration and the delivery of marketing materials, activities and projects.
  • Posting disruptions information to NCT’s web, app and social media (including evenings and weekends).
  • Answering customer queries through social media (including evenings and weekends).
  • Helping to prepare and install bus stop information.
  • Helping distribute printed timetable and information to outlets across the network.
  • Undertaking bus branding and messaging audits.
  • Proof reading of marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Be a team player, able to take direction, but also work on their own initiative.
  • Have good customer service skills.
  • Have excellent IT skills.
  • Have a good working knowledge of key social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn).
  • Possess good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have a good level of health and fitness (for manual aspects of work in Publicity).
  • Be happy to work at heights (for aspects of work in Publicity).
  • A full manual UK driving licence with at least 12 months driving experience (and you should not be disqualified from driving at the time of applying).
  • Your licence should have no more than 3 penalty points on it.

We offer

  • Mondays to Fridays, 37 hours per week, typically working.
  • Two days per week in the Publicity Department at Trent Bridge Garage (Meadows).
  • Three days per week in the Marketing Department at Parliament Street Garage (City Centre).
  • At busy times, e.g. changes to routes, start of academic year, and to cover for holidays, there will be greater working in the Publicity Department.
  • Three evenings per week (18:00 - 22:00 weekdays or 17:00 - 22:00 on weekend) responding to social media queries and posting disruptions information to customers. This will be done at home, on an ‘on call’ basis posting information when issues arise or responding to customers when they contact us. This is in addition to the 37 hours per week.
  • Occasional weekend working to meet business needs.
  • £22,741 per annum (which includes payment for the three evenings per week).
  • 25 days holiday per year (exclusive of Bank Holidays).
