Description

  • Develop and execute all aspects of studio and location shoots from: shot list development, planning and schedule execution on site.
  • Ensure with all in-house stakeholders we only shoot what we need.
  • Be the gatekeeper of all photographic brand assets management: organise, file, manage and traffic all imagery between Hotel Chocolat and our external production agency.
  • Liaise with our external photographers / re-touchers, and our external production agency: providing feedback and notes on the original brief. This requires a good understanding of photography.
  • Manage photography budgets and create photography shoot plans to ensure all image requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Support the Senior manager for art direction in the development of photography style guides.
  • Coordinate and facilitate photo samples, maintaining up-to-date tracking records of all samples and vendor image to budget.
  • Develop and issue weekly missing sample reports – meet with stakeholders to update status.
  • Be responsible for metadata upkeep and liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Previous experience within a relevant or similar role – Production experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge and passion for photography and its processes.
  • Strong project management, organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent client facing demeanour.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite CC particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Deadline driven self-starter, works well under pressure on multiple tasks at one time.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and/or Asset Management.
  • Experience with applying and managing metadata.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and not only cope with, but thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and confidently.
  • Willing to travel both domestically and internationally where required.
