Description

  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing plan, new product introductions, packaging changes, and consumer promotions.
  • Assist in creation and execution of marketing campaigns out to the trade/banners, working with Key Account Managers to secure ‘white space’ opportunities and align with corporate business objectives and marketing calendar.
  • Draft and continually improve all Sales Materials (sell sheets, presentations, etc.), ensuring timely coordination.
  • Observe and analyze Nielsen data, category insights, market trends and competitive activities to seek out innovative ways to build the brands.
  • Manage and oversee experiential marketing program, including but not limited to staff, organizing training, car fleet, management of outside agency (where applicable) and reporting.
  • Maintain coupon inventory and tracking of redemption.
  • Creates and collaborates on customer-specific proposals and programs.
  • Assists the Sales & Marketing team “on the ground” with events, demos, and trade shows.
  • Work on special projects and other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Marketing).
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in Marketing and/or CPG. New product development and innovation expertise.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit with a ‘can-do’ attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of Branded and Private Label Business practices.
  • An ability to think and act analytically and well as creatively.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with short turn-around deliverables.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand customer needs and apply appropriate solutions.
