Description

• Participation in preparation of monthly management accounts as well as financial reporting to Irish Life Group finance on a quarterly basis.
• Analysis of month end variances and investigation of drivers.
• Ensuring accounts are completed under internal control reporting standards.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines for accounting procedures.
• Completion of weekly bank reconciliations and investigation and clearance of reconciliation differences.
• Monitoring of daily cash balances.
• Completion of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with accounting system developments, assessments and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• A relevant third level degree (Accountancy / Business related a bonus) with 2.1 Honours (preferred), who has commenced / is about to commence studying towards ACCA qualification.
• Have a high level of self-motivation.
• Good attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Good experience and understanding of Microsoft Office.
