Description

  • Define, articulate and effectively communicate the criteria required for the seven (7) digital badges young adults enrolled in experiential learning programs complete to earn the Student of Leadership & Humanity Award.
  • Align each badge to existing competency frameworks.
  • Develop issuer eligibility criteria for experiential learning and gap year programs.
  • Develop our badge program strategy for partner organizations to issue badges.

Responsibilities

  • Passion for experiential learning/gap years/youth development.
  • Aligning with the Gap Year Movement and CanGap’s mission is essential.
  • Ability to work remotely: work well independently, take initiative, manage deadlines effectively, strong team communication, comfortable with project management software, unafraid to ask clarifying questions, timely in escalating issues.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for varied audiences (professional and colloquial).
  • Digital research skills and digitally literate to operate within the CanCred Factory system for badging.
  • 2-3 years working in program development and experience in educational (desired: experiential education) curriculum writing.
