Description

Managing people and Demium hubs (Warsaw & Kyiv) under your responsibility.
You will be in the day-to-day running of the teams working alongside the entrepreneurs, you will get the best version of the Demium team and help them to set goals through weekly sprints.
Together with HR department, you'll be able to make decisions about your team: career plans, development, recruitment, etc.
You will support the startups of your hubs during their preparation before the Demium Investment Committee, the entrepreneurs will have to defend their project to get their first round of investment, and you will help them by reviewing the documentation to be presented, their pitch, their deck, their financial plans...
Manage the entire process of presenting the startups to the Investment Committee, presenting the startup's candidacy and supporting them in their defence.
Close the investment process by signing the shareholders agreements and clearing up any doubts that the entrepreneurs may have.
Welcome new entrepreneurs to your Demium hubs, explaining our incubation agreement and making their experience at Demium amazing.
You will support Demium to become better known in the ecosystem through the events we hold in the cities where we are present.
You will be the interlocutor for local investors, collaborating with our Investment Principals to connect our startups with future investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

You live in Warsaw or Kyiv.
You write and speak fluent English.
Experience as a manager, you have leadership skills.
You enjoy working with people and listening to them.
Experience developing startups. Preferably having co-founded one, although we would also welcome a mentoring or guiding role.
Knowledge in the area of startup investment. You will have to closely follow the investment process of the startups in our programmes.
We need you to have knowledge in the areas of business, marketing and technology to be able to guide local teams and startups.
You know the stages a startup must go through to grow. Thanks to your experience and knowledge you can make sure that the startups you work with don't make mistakes.
Concepts such as "pitch deck", "go to market" or "value proposition" are part of your daily work.
You have a passion for startups and their impact on society.
You are a decisive person and able to give 100% without anyone telling you what to do. You like to work with autonomy and responsibility.
You are not afraid of supporting several projects simultaneously. You must have a high capacity for organisation and planning.
Availability to travel to the Demium hub in the city where you do not live.

€40K + bonus, which could add another €15K. (B2B contractor).
