Remote Project Manager (Bilingual-Japanese)

Description

  • Works with the Translation Governance Manager to identify scope of work and create a corresponding project plan
  • Coordinates meetings with various lines of business to discuss the project and set deadlines and deliverables. This includes providing explicit instructions to help facilitate the team’s work
  • Tracks translation needs for the project and informs the Translation Team Manager of the incoming assignments
  • Anticipates and troubleshoots project bottlenecks and escalates appropriately, resolving as much as possible independently
  • Performs translations or proofreading tasks, English-Japanese
  • Log project status if required

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Bilingual English-Japanese preferred
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
  • Experienced coordinating and leading meetings
  • Certified Scrum Master preferred
  • Collaborative thinker who works well in a team
  • Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think outside the box
