Description

• Be the trusted thought partner of Business teams on analytical solutions, insight and analytics
• Drive the deployment of analytics strategies within a function across countries, explaining what "state of the art" looks like in data and analytics.
• Work closely with business users to explain the possibilities and limitations of data science and be a thought leader for all advanced analytics discussions
• Communication link between tech and business roles (ensuring all communications flows seamlessly)
• Leverage data to draw insights and enhance daily decision making (e.g. utilize GCR, market benchmarks, market trends)
• Hands on work on analytics use-cases or insights as and when required 
• Develop a clear understanding of the business’s strategic needs
• Organize workshops to gather the needs of each function in terms of analytics
• Streamline use case lifecycle process and establish frameworks and governance across use case lifecycle
• Develop a clear understanding of the business’s strategic needs
• Prioritize highest impact initiatives in alignment with the MAF strategy
• Articulate business needs to the technical colleagues in order to find the best analytical solutions to address the problem
• Act as a use case squad member supporting across the different stages of a use case (managing process of defining impact & process of setting up implementation plans, etc.)
• Identify and gather data from the business to be used for the use case analysis/modelling
• Collaborate with squad members (e.g. business partners, data engineers, data scientists) to solve and deliver the use case
• Communicate the insights generated with appropriate recommendations to business stakeholders
• Liaise with business owners and help problem solve challenges in data collection and/or product implementation and usage.
• Designing, developing and implementing product prototypes that are piloted and converted to products the use of which is institutionalized within the business
• Escalate issues that will hinder the delivery of the use case
• Ensure last mile execution based on the use case insights, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and driving tool adoption
• Working closely with the business to collect feedback, incorporating in the product, as well as maintaining and improving its functionality over time
• Ensure usage and implementation of products and procedures by the business and inform performance management processes
• Scale and deploy existing use cases delivering value
• Come up with new ideas, insights and use-cases
• Instilling an analytics driven mind-set in the business

Responsibilities

• Understands business context and needs, generates and crystallizes ideas
• Structures complex problems, leveraging analytics and business context in problem solving
• Demonstrates analytical savviness, with a proven ability to make data driven decision
• Drives stakeholder alignment on complex issues, removing bottlenecks throughout use case life cycle working closely across levels including the C-suite
• Comfortable with ambiguity, developing MVP’s in a “test and learn” environment
• Communicates in a structured and synthesized manner Functional/Technical Competencies • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills • Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) • Analytics packages such as R/SAS/SPSS/Google Analytics
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant to the role
• Master’s Degree in in Business Administration is preferred
• Degree in a quantitative subject preferred (Analytics, Engineering, Math, Statistics)
• Minimum 7 years in the related managerial function
• Preferably 5+ years’ experience in leveraging analytics to drive business decisions
• Demonstrated high level skills in management (experienced communicator, proved ability to build capacity and develop stakeholder engagement) of a large and complex organization
• Solid analytics acumen (must be able to bridge the business and tech)
• Ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds
