Description

- translation from and into English and French of various documents: contracts, corporate documents, legislation, procedural acts, court decisions, arbitral awards, doctrine, case law, technical documentations in various technical fields, decisions of the Competition Council, financial-accounting documents, financial-accounting reports, financial audit reports, internal communications, internal presentations, press releases, specialized articles and articles from the domestic and international media;
- revision of translations;
- correction of texts in English, French, Romanian from a grammatical and stylistic point of view;
- preparing translations for notarisation and following through the notarisation process until the documents are handed over to the persons that had requested them (clients / lawyers);
- cost and time estimation of translations;
- liaising with external collaborators (translation companies or independent translators) and with notary offices;
- specific internal translation-related know-how activities (drawing up and constant updating of glossaries, translation of relevant legislation);
- research of specialized terminology in English, French, Romanian;
- holding and communicating relevant up-to-date information about the notarisation procedure;
- formatting translated documents.

Responsibilities

  • - at least 5 years of experience as authorized translator.
  • - at least 5 years of experience as an internal translator in law firms
  • - authorization issued by the Ministry of Justice (English - mandatory, French - mandatory);
  • - University diploma (philology, foreign languages, applied modern languages).
  • - excellent writing/editing skills, as well as communication, interpersonal relationship skills;
  • - proficiency, flexibility and desire to learn and the ability to share one's own knowledge;
  • - organizational and time management skills, distributive attention and the ability to perform several tasks at the same time;
  • - attention to detail;
  • - the ability to cope with demanding situations;
  • - initiative, creativity and imagination;
  • - team player;
  • - analytical skills and the ability to identify simple and efficient solutions.
  • - advanced knowledge of Windows Office, Internet browsing and good computer typing speed.
