Wattpad is looking for a bright, highly-organized, and articulate Translator to support two executives. You will interact with our impressive (and growing) over 300+ strong Wattpad team in our hybrid work environment. You will help keep our leaders informed by providing timely translations and interpretations. This role will require strong attention to detail and an ability to manage shifting priorities. This position will be a 12-month contract .

• Translate and interpret varying levels of complex and confidential correspondences and interactions for two Executives
• Proofread translated material for accuracy
• Attend and take notes during meetings and circulate them to relevant team members in a timely manner
• Perform research and information gathering
• Provide support and perform other tasks in support of your Executives

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years experience in translation, preferably for executives in a corporate environment
• Fluency in English and Korean; must have both business and conversational proficiency
• Flexibility to work outside normal working hours when required
• Strong familiarity with Toronto and surrounding areas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, capable of multitasking and prioritizing across multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
• High energy, friendly, and professional demeanor, with a strong desire to help and support others
