Ridgeline’s People team is growing and looking for an innovative strategic thinker, exceptional executor, and people-oriented team player to help build a best-in-class environment for our employees. As part of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team, you will be a principal support in driving and executing Ridgeline’s talent agenda. To be successful in this role, you will need to build relationships across the People team and a diverse group of stakeholders, learn the business - its leaders and organizational structure - and problem solve across a wide range of HR topics. This person will also need to have a keen eye for detail, creativity, a learning mindset, and be tech savvy to help support the organization. As a Senior HR Business Partner you will be the first line of contact for employees looking for HR-related information and support, so strong communications skills, empathy, and patience are a must.

This position will report directly to the Head of HR.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic leadership, facilitate, and execute company-wide talent related initiatives
  • Influence the workforce strategy and organizational structure while partnering with our talent acquisition team to build a robust pipeline across several functions
  • Partner to design, develop and execute HR programs e.g. compensation, retention, learning and development, and employee engagement
  • Provide coaching and collaborate with leaders on managing individuals, creating high-performing teams, and building a top notch team culture that engages individuals and helps them bring their best selves to Ridgeline everyday
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to strategically guide your work, challenge the business, and provide insights to help improve organizational health in service of business objectives.
  • Sponsor and bring an HR lens to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) programs
  • Manage challenging employee relations issues with excellence
  • Be a subject matter expert on Ridgelines HR tools, processes, and team interdependencies across all areas of the People Team
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
  • Coach and mentor junior HR talent and have a strong team mindset
  • Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in an HRBP role
  • At least 2+ years supporting technical executives in a software organization
  • Deep understanding of "what best-in-class HR looks like" and how the business cycle influences the people agenda
  • Strong judgment and experience coaching senior leaders and assessing talent
  • Strong data and analytics expertise
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues
  • Familiarity in HR administration
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent program management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Familiarity with Google Suite or other work productivity apps
  • Serious interest in having fun at work!

Nice To Have’s

  • MBA or Masters of HR
  • 5+ years of experience driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for high growth organizations, preferably a start-up
  • Excellent business acumen and an ability to understand a P&L

We offer

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $130,000 - $159,000 for individuals based in New York. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
