• Copy-editing Arabic UN and NGO reports on a wide range of topics
• Proofreading Arabic translations: ensuring that translations are of high quality and have been thoroughly proofread
• Translating English texts into Arabic
• Maintaining Arabic translation assets: updating databases of terms and TMs

Key requirements (please do not apply if you do not meet ALL of these)

• University degree in translation
• Native-level proficiency in Arabic
• Excellent Arabic writing skills
• Experience working as a professional translator
• Experience of working with Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tools such as Memsource or Trados or in a translation environment/agency

• Willingness to learn

Asset

• Experience working in-house for a translation agency
• Experience of translating development-related texts
• UK residency or pre-settled status is desirable. Visa sponsorship considered for outstanding candidates.
