MasterWord is growing, and we are looking for experienced, US-based freelance translators for the following language pairs:

• English > Bengali

• English > Gujarati

• English > Hindi

• English > Tamil

• English > Telugu

• English > Urdu

Prior experience in the translation industry and/or degree in translation

• Based in the United States; legally authorized to work within the United States

• Willingness to complete tedious onboarding paperwork

• Flexibility in accepting new projects to meet client deadlines

• Responsive and detail-oriented with a strong passion for language

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

 

*Nice-To-Haves:

• ATA certified and/or similar

• References

• Knowledge of XTM and/or Phrase (formerly Memsource)

• 10+ years' experience in the translation industry

Additional Information:

• At MasterWord, we use Phrase as our primary CAT Tool; however, we occasionally assign projects via XTM and Microsoft Word.

• Phrase login credentials will be provided to you free-of-charge, so there is no need for an applicant to purchase any specific CAT tool.

• Payments will begin processing upon confirmation of the invoiced amount at the 30-day mark, following invoice confirmation. More details regarding invoicing procedures will be provided upon onboarding.
