Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing new clients in the Weather Services business through strategic prospecting, relationship building and solution-selling, with a focus on our Energy/Utilities, Aviation & Weather Risk services in the EMEA Region. By understanding, challenging and teaching you will help clients manage their weather risks and ensure safer, more profitable operations and activities.
  • Customer responsive and service focused, engaging communication with active listening and problem solving for customers, internal and external, to understand their needs and how DTN solutions may be of benefit and serve those needs
  • Create presentations and solution proposals, and demonstrate products in person or via Web Meeting
  • Timely and accurate reporting and management of a pipeline of new business as well as increasing share of wallet with existing customers
  • Identify and communicate sales leads and opportunities through use of CRM system
  • Visiting prospective clients and existing customers in the assigned territory with frequent and regular travel within assigned territory
  • As part of a performance-based team, will be required to meet or exceed sales plan

 

 

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years of software or “SaaS” sales and territory management experience

 

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving, and solutions selling with the added in-depth knowledge of key industries impacted by weather and the importance of weather risk mitigation.
  • A self-starter with proven track record of delivering sales results. Must be aggressive, self-motivated and results driven. A strong team player who can work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of working with a CRM system – Salesforce.com preferred
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and accountability abilities
