BOARD International is looking at the earliest possible day for a motivated Junior Marketing Specialist to join our team to help build and deliver marketing programs in the DACH region. Reporting into the Head of Marketing Central & Eastern Europe and working closely with the Regional Marketing Team.

Must have:

  • Completed vocational training or Bachelor´s degree required, within marketing or other related fields of study
  • Career starter or 1-2 year experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of basic marketing skills and processes
  • Very well organised, thorough and be able to manage a varied workload, attention to detail and care about quality is essential
  • Enthusiastic can-do attitude and proactive mindset
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Good written, verbal and analytical skills are a must, Native German Speaker, very good knowledge of English (both speaking and writing)
  • Proficient using MS Office
  • Adaptable to an ever-changing organization
  • Team player

 

 

Nice to have:

  • Working experience with photography, video as well as photoshop/ design knowledge are preferred
  • Knowledge with email best practices to achieve high performance and maintain high email deliverability is an advantage
  • Data building and analysis experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Marketo is a plus
  • Experience of CMS systems to support website activity
  • Ability to use social media channels effectively to grow a brand/ business

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and execution of webinars including speaker briefings & lead follow-up coordination as well as tracking the webinar performance
  • Support marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email campaigns, content, and social channels
  • Assist in the creating of marketing materials and engaging content for marketing campaigns
  • Website Updates
  • Managing marketing email mailboxes and processing incoming leads and enquiries
  • Help with database maintenance through database updates
  • Research related to list building and attendee lists from events
  • Event support including but not limited to pre- and post-event communications, collating all relevant materials for events, co-ordination of shipments and research of venues
  • Marketing storage management & logistics
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, including raising purchase orders and ensuring that they meet the business' cost, quality and deadline requirements and expectations
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members and manage projects in areas of related responsibility to drive operational excellence and business growth
  • Administrative or other marketing support, as and when required
