Description

As a Senior Project Manager you will play a key role in the success of the Road Logistics business in Belgium.

Your Role:
As a member of the local management team and right hand of the local Branch Manager (KMH ZO) you are responsible for the timely delivery of improvement projects, solutions and new business implementation.

Your Skills And Experiences:

  • Several years of experience in managing logistics projects in road logistics
  • Proven experience in applied project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2, PMI)
  • Proven experience in Business Process Engineering (defining business processes based on customer's requirements and translating these into transportation and IT solutions)
  • University or Bachelor degree or similar level of education in transport business
  • Demonstrated analytical skills & awareness
  • High degree of organizational and communication skills
  • Structured process documentation skills
  • Strong affinity with required customer quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Specification of business requirements, solution and business case
  • Define KPIs and measurement methodology
  • Manage and implement (improvement) projects, solutions and new business
  • Planning of timeline, budget and resources
  • Coordinate testing of all related functionalities
  • Manage go-live preparation and post-implementation phase
  • Manage and communicate risks and delays and escalate if required
  • Act as back-up of of the branch manager for projects and day-to-day business
  • Support and coordination of the operational processes and business rules for Transport Planning and Customer Service
  • Coordination of activities related to 3rd party transport suppliers
  • Manage customer relationship during implementation
  • Drive change management internally and externally (customers)
  • Coordinate and/or perform training for all stakeholders
