Gold Front is looking to hire a Strategy Director. Our ideal candidate brings passion, organized thinking, and a flair for storytelling to all things strategy. The person we’re seeking has designed research programs, led and facilitated strategy workshops, and knows how to craft a creative brief or strategic narrative.

 

This position can be filled by someone working in either San Francisco or Los Angeles, or working remotely from anywhere within the United States—Pacific Time Zone preferred. 

 

About us: We are an independently-owned category design studio in San Francisco and Los Angeles. We help startups create and own their category through strategy, brand design and film production. Responsibilities

  • Help us continue to develop an ownable, uniquely valuable strategy processes and systems for startups
  • Act as strategic partner and advisor across ongoing category strategy, messaging and brand initiatives 
  • Prepare engaging and effective presentations, proposals, and questionnaires and successfully lead strategy workshops and interviews
  • Build and manage our strategy team
  • Collaborate with creative teams to help shape the creative expression and execution of strategy  
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure initiatives have appropriate resources and are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements

  • 8+ years industry experience at a senior level or higher
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with a wide range of clients at the executive level, in both the B2B and B2C worlds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
