Description

As a Senior Product Manager for the Channels & Attribution team in San Francisco, you will oversee the product strategy and execution to drive student, instructor, and partnership traffic globally. Your mission will be to enable Udemy to reach, convert, & retain existing and potential users profitably and at scale through existing and new technical initiatives. Success requires a tight and forward-looking relationship with engineering, multiple data science, marketing, and business development stakeholders. We are seeking a combination of strong vision, strategic leverage, team leadership, and high-velocity execution.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

    • Lead our 3rd party partner platforms and API’s to help build and scale Udemy’s partner ecosystem
    • Automate, orchestrate, and scale our marketing efforts across various channels (Google, FB, IG, Affiliates, Partnerships, and more)
    • Define, monitor and measure product metrics and KPIs, incorporate learnings into product definition and development process
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful products and/or features
    • Communicate product vision to senior management and various stakeholders
    • Build an in-depth understanding of our B2B and B2C customers, internal users, integrations, systems, API’s, marketing tools, and channels

Responsibilities

We’re Excited About You Because You Have

    • 5+ years of product management experience in building and shipping products for 3rd party partnership platforms and paid marketing channels. Channels include, but are not limited to: 3rd Party Partnership Platforms, Paid Social, Digital Video, Affiliates and more
    • Design and deliver scalable integrations with partners, enabling them to successfully launch products into their wide range of market segments
    • Communicate performance to marketing team leadership and other stakeholders to promote a shared understanding of performance marketing strategy, ROI, and opportunities
    • You have great attention to detail but base your strategy on the big picture objectives
    • You understand how technology can solve customer problems and can engage in the details with our engineering team to find simpler solutions
    • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools
    • Passion about the education space and the problems we are solving
    • Comfortable collaborating with local and remote Product and Engineering teams (San Francisco and Istanbul)

Nice To Haves

    • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field is ideal
    • Experience with delivering products for two-sided marketplaces/platforms
    • Experience with SQL for pulling and analyzing data
