Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager working closely with Solera North America stakeholders, to deliver added value solutions to Solera’s customers. The role requires a global product vision and strategy.

We require a passionate digital product innovator with a breadth and depth of experience within fast-paced and agile Global Organization. We are looking for an inspirational leader with experience in building, coaching and motivating high performing product teams.

The role is North America focused with a little travel expectation.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Understand Solera strategic and competitive position in the countries, working with regional teams and customers to define and deliver best in class, sustainable and competitive products
  • Drive and define Solera’s products roadmap from a strategic, business-driven and hands-on perspective, combining feedback from customers, country teams and research
  • Apply Solera’s Demand Management process in order to prioritize demands with the highest value, analyzing new demands with the standard business case template, getting revenue input from Sales
  • Own the P&L for your product(s)
  • Lead the execution of product initiatives through the entire lifecycle from defining the use cases to the planning and delivery, collaborating closely with the Product Owners and Engineering Leads.
  • Become an expert in the industry and our target markets to help define our competitive product strategy
  • Develop product material such as value propositions, roadmaps, demo scripts to help the Solera countries better understand the value and positioning of the product
  • Engage directly, where appropriate, with clients and support commercial efforts
  • Keep abreast of product trends and explore opportunities for product innovation
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics (usage Analytics, NPS) driving data-based decisions

Responsibilities

  • At least 7 years of product management experience with B2B web applications. Insurance or Automotive experience can be a plus
  • Demonstrable success in interpreting technology and market trends, converting these into winning product strategies, and successfully executing on these strategies through all aspects of the product lifecycle and have them drive commercial success.
  • Strong written and communication skills in English, additional languages can be a plus
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and pain-points
  • A clear global outlook with experience in shaping global product strategy understanding the different needs of regional markets.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with both sales and marketing departments
  • Relentless customer centric mindset and approach.
  • Excellent communication and team skills, can communicate requirements and goals efficiently
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) Software Development frameworks
  • Technical web applications awareness (HTML, CSS, XML, API) in order to effectively manage features
  • Flexibility to travel and work different hours.
  • Positive outlook, a hands-on approach and a naturally high work ethic focused on swift execution
  • Requires a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
