Are you an experienced DG Solar Project Developer looking for an opportunity to lead the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic market for one of the most innovating solar developers in the US? They are a developer, owner, operator and financier of solar projects with a focus on emerging state markets and community solar programs nationwide. 

 

This employee will quarterback projects in the northeast region and will provide support in other markets as needed. Responsible for market strategy, site acquisition, permitting, interconnection and other development activities for DG + community solar projects. 

 

 

Essential job functions include:

  • Develop, lead and execute on market strategy
  • Landowner lease agreements
  • Due diligence
  • Interconnection and permitting processes
  • Preparing a project for construction commencement
  • Being the eyes and ears focused on northeast markets, monitoring changes or activity related to market
  • Support key functional teams, including commercial origination, legal, finance and construction/operations

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project development related experience in solar, preferably in the NE market.
