Translate a wide variety of documents intended for a broad audience against multiple priorities, within the required timeframe.
Revise documents, ensuring quality of the final product, terminology accuracy and content uniformity.
Update texts, as required, and offer editorial support.
Provide QA for strategic documents.
Contribute to the development of the internal terminology database.
Act as a resource person on language, translation and editing-related questions, and provide consultation services for jargon or terminology specific to the company.
Support the Linguistic Services manager, as required, for specific tasks and special projects.
Participate in the Business Continuity Plan, as required.
Establish and maintain professional and constructive relationships with clients and contribute to the promotion of the language professions across the company.

Responsibilities

BA in Translation from a recognized university programme.
Minimum of 5 years experience in French translation, preferably in the financial sector.
Perfect command of written French and thorough knowledge of the English language.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to organize and prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines.
Rigour and attention to detail, especially for proofreading.
High degree of efficiency, autonomy and responsibility.
Strong interpersonal skills and a standout colleague working to achieve common goals.
Professionalism, integrity and strict confidentiality.
Ability to work in a structured environment with minimal guidance.
Knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools (MemSource, Studio GroupShare, LogiTerm, etc.).
Certification by a recognized professional translator's association
