Upwork has partnered with a governing organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who oversees the church in directing its various divisions and leadership, as well as doctrinal matters. To continue with this mission, they are looking for a Chinese Translator who will translate word document from English to Uyghur or Chinese.

• Provide both simultaneous and consecutive translation support.

• Translate English to advanced level printed materials including technical manuals and foreign language periodicals into good grammatical Chinese.

• Prepare and updates databases of translated Chinese material.

• Support the team by being able to read, comprehend and translate Chinese words and ideas.

• Translation experience.

• Must have a solid understanding of computers with experience in the application.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Great attention to detail.

• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
