Description
As a trainee Bulgarian Translator you will:
-
translate (non-legal) texts from English into Bulgarian;
-
revise and proofread texts in Bulgarian;
-
help to identify, extract and compile terminology, particularly in the fields of economics and finance;
-
align previously translated documents so they can be added to the translation memory databases.
Responsibilities
-
a bachelor’s degree or higher in modern languages or translation;
-
a mastery-level (C2) command of Bulgarian;
-
an advanced (C1) command of English, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages .
-
a master’s degree (or being close to completing a master’s degree) in modern languages or translation, or a master’s degree in any other field combined with postgraduate studies in translation;
-
familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools;
-
an interest in financial and economic affairs;
-
an intermediate (B1) command of another official EU language.
