Description

  • Translation of documents from English into Myanmar vice versa (costed per number of words)
  • Proof-reading of documents from English into Myanmar vice versa (costed per number of words)

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
  • At least 4 years’ professional experience in English-Myanmar-English interpretation services
  • Experience in interpretation for UN agencies or other development organizations is preferable.
  • Familiarity with Programme management/Results Based Management, CEDAW, Gender and Development, Women, Peace and Security, Migration terminologies and humanitarian terminologies is required.
  • Fluency in both English and Myanmar language is required.

  • Financial proposal. The financial proposal shall specify professional fee for:
  • Simultaneous/ Consecutive Interpretation from English into Myanmar vice versa (costed per half day/20 days)
  • Simultaneous/ Consecutive Interpretation from English into Myanmar vice versa (costed per full day/20 days)
  • Consecutive/Simultaneous Interpretation including translation in chat box from English into Myanmar vice versa for Virtual/ face to face or online (Zoom) Workshops/ Meetings (costed per hour/40 hours)
The financial proposal will be in Myanmar Kyats ONLY and the method of payment shall be bank transfer only . The proposal shall also specify availability during the contracting period and any charges related to other expenses, i.e. logistic, travel and communications expenses.
