Localization Manager

Description

  • Provide leadership and mentorship for the team who has needs of localization of the contents and related deliverables.
  • Engage with CCE, brand strategy and sales team to redefine the way content distribution from creators to global customers through localization.
  • Set prioritization and escalation strategies for the team which support localization excellence to pick the right places to high touch solutions that are in the best interest of Pivo brand experiences.
  • Drive geographical strategies and deliverables that increase visibility, discussion, and innovation.
  • Manage day-to-day localization work to be completed in a timely manner with excellence of localization quality.
  • Partner closely with colleagues executing vendor engagement and scaled project management  to continuously improve resource forecasting and efficiency
  • Monitor and evaluate localization quality through ongoing management and quality assurance processes to deliver localization excellence at scale as one team.
  • Be the owner of company-wide localization asset management including terminology hand book and localization playbook.

Specific Requirements

  • Experience leading complex cross functional programs to delivery in localization, international product development. Experience in content and marketing is a plus.
  • Significant experience with distributed global teams. Superior product knowledge, experience in the IT industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in business analysis and strategic planning. Ability to make data and insights accessible to a non-expert audience.
  • Curiosity for language, culture, regional nuance, and the desire to continually build empathy.
  • Fluency in English and a non-English language is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Detail-oriented and thrive in dynamic and fast-paced working environments.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong team player.
