Audiovisual Translation Project Manager

  • Manage translation projects according to deadlines, quality, and budget requirements. (Planning, management of execution and control).
  • Effectively communicate project scope and expectations to team members and vendors in a timely, clear, and respectful fashion throughout the entire project cycle.
  • Coordinate freelance translation team – delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide client/vendor support throughout the duration of the project.
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team under constant time pressure, assuming ownership of tasks.
  • Terminology Management/glossary management.
  • Grant smooth ongoing of operations in Production and report and escalate matters in a timely manner to your line manager.
  • Administration support to team members.

Specific Requirements

  • +2 years previous PM experience in the audiovisual translation industry.
  • Degree in Translation Studies.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Masters Degree in Audiovisual Translation.
  • Fluent in other languages.
  • Familiarity with translation tools.
