Responsibilities
- Convert content in the source language to equivalent concepts in the target language
- Fluency in writing, reading and speaking
- Leave the tone and style of the original language unchanged
- Apply cultural knowledge to produce a meaningful translation of the original message
- Convert ideas in the source language to equivalent ideas in the target language
- Compile information and terminology to be used in translations
- Proofread, edit, and revise translated materials
- Translates a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials.
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Make content and videos
Requirements:
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Good knowledge of Canva
- Time-management skills
- Possess the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and in writing so others will understand
- Showcase excellent social skills
