Localization Production Manager

Description

The Production Manager will manage the team and strategize and service the localization needs of our customers to meet speed, quality and budget requirements. Our service delivery is tech-enabled, which differentiates ourselves from our competitors and enables us to consistently, efficiently and cost effectively to meet our company contribution and gross margin goals.

This position will be based out of our London office and employees will be expected to come into the office in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers on the status of translation projects
  • Engages with linguist team and builds a community of trusted resources for each customer; responds to linguist questions according to SLAs
  • Performs self-sourcing in our existing vendor database and enters sourcing requests when new vendors are needed
  • Verifies invoicing information and enters vendor payment information
  • Promptly enters QRM tickets upon receipt of customer feedback
  • Monitors Services KPIs per project: quality, cost, and turnaround time
  • Performs file analysis and engages with Solutions team for support on file types
  • Uses and understands the Lilt platform by engaging and learning on our Knowledge Base and following up with tickets with the support team
  • Creates and monitors client linguistic assets (TM, Style Guides, reference material)
  • Manages translation projects end-to-end on the Lilt platform
  • Trains supporting resources on key production processes and methodology
  • Develops and maintains process documentation related to their task load and the tasks delegated to other resources.
  • Provides insight to Strategist into revenue forecasts based on production volume
  • Escalates Production risks/blockers in the appropriate manner to their Strategist as soon as they arise
  • Ensures all system admin, including data entry, is accurate for their accounts

Successful candidates will have

  • At least 3 years professional experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in Localization is a plus
  • Experience in project management is a plus
  • Experience in a startup is a plus
