Description

As a Materials Planner your primary responsibility will be to ensure production continuity through managing materials inventory and troubleshooting and carrying out routine maintenance and repair on machinery

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Initiate and manage materials procurement
  • Conduct stock quality control
  • Manage relationships with suppliers including conflict resolution and providing vendor performance reports
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repair of production line machinery in line with safety procedures
  • Monitor warehouse inventory levels

Responsibilities

  • Previous experience in maintaining and repairing machinery is essential
  • Experience in materials planning, warehouse and inventory management
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise conflicting departmental demands
  • Excellent organisational skills
